Writing Portfolio:
I am a lifelong storyteller, writing short stories since I was in fourth grade. Below is a sample of a variety of my work - from journalism articles to argumentative essays and even a few poems.
Argumentative Essay: The Suppression of Women
This well-researched paper, done for my Philosophy of Sex and Love class, combined my passion for social justice and strengths in argumentative writing. It received excellent feedback.
Personal Journalism: Costa Rica Story
While in college, I studied abroad in Costa Rica, learning about the ethics of coffee production in regards to environmentalism. When I returned, I wrote a personal article for my journalism class, incorporating my diary entries from the trip and photographic elements.
Short Story: The Time Capsule
My creative writing classes were always my favorites, allowing me to expand on already existing passion for storytelling. This short story, done for a fiction assignment, addresses themes of family and what it means to move on.

My passion for music has always led me to reflect upon my favorite albums and write reviews, including Taylor Swift's "Folklore." My album reviews aim to address production and lyricism, and entice people to enjoy the music I love.

When I graduated, I consolidated my favorite poems and diary entries into a single document. All first drafts, these musings are small samples of my creative writing. Rather than telling a single story, they paint the picture of a chaotic and emotional coming-of-age.
